“My immigrant parents raised me to believe that I should be a soft, obedient, overachieving student. When I went out into the harsh world, I realized that my upbringing made me vulnerable to pleasing other people's wants instead of my own. Because of my experience, I feel I can help young women discern what they want over the wants of others, helping them to achieve their true goals.”
